LOVE
The cornerstone of our child care is love—allowing our love for Christ to overflow in our reception of "one child such as this” (Mark 9:37). We hope to mirror the love of Jesus’ own Mother, Mary, a holy woman who also experienced an unexpected pregnancy, by cradling these little ones as if they were the Holy Infant himself, worthy of the most tender care possible. As we care for the children, we also hope to care for the mothers by accompanying them on their path towards financial independence as they achieve their positive life goals. Our desire is to equip them with tools to reach their highest potential as a loving mother.

In the short term, A Mother's Love will provide on-site childcare for at-risk mothers who are taking steps towards financial independence. Volunteers from the St. Louis community will watch their children. We will operate on a referral-only basis from area maternity shelters and partners.

The long term goal is to grow from a childcare facility to a transitional shelter for women and their children. Flexible, 24-hour childcare will be provided by St. Louis community volunteers. The at-risk mothers and their children will live together, walking a similar path as they work to establish an independent future.
